Being a 24/7 plumbing service means that we have seen and dealt with it all! From emergency leaks on the Fourth of July to backflow testing repair first thing in the morning. With all this experience, we have gained some bizarre plumbing knowledge along the way.

Plumbing is not as recent of a concept as you may think! In fact, there are rudimentary examples of plumbing from as early as 2700 BC. Ancient civilizations including the Greeks and Romans used earthen plumbing pipes to provide potable water and assist with wastewater removal.

Nearly 3000 years ago, the fabled King Minos of Crete possessed the first flushing water closet. It even had a wooden seat! Lost for centuries in the rubble of the palace ruins, the invention did not materialize again until 1594, at which time John Harington decided to modernize the idea for himself.
